do we really need to know the different types of rockets - Eg. Solid Fuel rockets and Liquid Fuel Rockets as stated in Jacaranda

i don't think so. you do need to know how they work, and be able to use the momentum and f = ma equations for example.

check your syllabus, they can't test anything outside of it :)

identify data sources, gather, analyse
and present information on the
contribution of one of the following to
the development of space exploration:
Tsiolkovsky, Oberth, Goddard,
Esnault-Pelterie, O’Neill or von
Braun
No, technically you dont even have to know about rockets
if you pick Esnault Pelterie he experimented with liquid fuels, built the first all metal-monoplane, designed the first joystick and invented the aileron.
But i would suggest you pick someone more prominent because I have seen a catholic question which specifically asks "outline the contributions of Oberth, Goddard or von Braun to rocketry" i still think its dodgy.

But yeh...
