So for those who did the exam- how was it? What kind of questions did they ask?

yeah, I did the exam :uhhuh:

you need general knowledge for the mutliple choice section, but it's better to go through the practice booklet first cos the questions are VERY similar.

the english section was quite easy aswell, you just need to make sure that you finish it on time.

k.

Got my results today. Not very happy- 66.
I was hoping to get into Uni with the STAT marks, but then I read the letter that came with the results and it said that my UAI has to be minimum 10 marks below the cut-off UAI which, realistically, is not going to happen with my UAI. So, in my case, a waste of time, money and hope.

If you score between 51 and 60.95 (i.e within ten points below) for your UAI, then UWS will consider your RET score (61) instead of your UAI. If your UAI is higher than your RET nothing happens and if your UAI is more than ten points below (less than 51) then nothing happens.

crap! that is fucked.
wait, but it says in the letter "if the cut-off in 2006 for the course you wish to enter was 71, then your uai must be at least 61 for your RET score to be used. once you have satisfied this criteria, your RET score, if higher than your uai, will be considered suring the UAC selection process."

now im even more confused..lol
