Reckonmend me a pedal!

For getting some epic distortion for playing hardcore/metal type genre!
My tube gets some okay sounds but in comparison, doesnt come anywhere near cutting it.

I'm thinking Boss Metal Zone 2. anyone got?

what amp do you have?
you should try asking at ultimate-guitar.com... theyll throw 10000 names out to you.

i had a ds-1 ... but i dunno what it would sound like pushed through a tube amp, and ive stopped using it because the rectifier modeller on my roland cube makes me wet, oh so wet. ;DDDD

yeah you can get the names off them (watch out for the fanboys who will regardless of the question just state their favourite brands), then read more about them elsewhere i guess (e.g musicians friend and musicians warehouse).
