I've made two quick graphs using https://www.desmos.com/calculator/ and the Raw Mark Database: http://community.boredofstudies.org/showthread.php?t=269611

Effectively you can click and run your cursor along the (very rough) line of best fit to see what raw marks in certain subjects are when aligned.

The x-axis is the raw mark, and the y-axis is the aligned mark.

Physics

Mathematics 2 Unit

The only problem: I'm not sure if 50 is the lowest possible aligned mark? If anyone would like to correct/fix the graphs/create more that'd be great. I just figured they'd be pretty useful for people.

Hey there,
just wondering how accurate this graph is?

To my understanding based on the graph, if my raw mark for physics is 70 then it will align to 85%?

Just saying after my all my school assessments are completed will the physics 85% be counted towards my atar as 85% or as 70%? (for my internals)

Excel would be a much better choice for graphing.

Thanks. One more thing;

I am doing the following subjects:

Math 2U: 80
Math 3U: 50-60
Physics: 70
Biology: 80
English Advanced: 70
Ancient History: 80
IPT: Going to drop next year

Just saying my raw mark for each subject is as shown in the bold and just saying the number in the bold, i also got for my HSC exam. With scaling and everything they do..... what would be as an estimate my Atar? I am aiming to beat 84%. Will this do it?

so this is the raw mark you got on your half yearly report?

if so: I'd estimate an 88
