last year it was getting 67% raw that became 90% aligned.

i.e. 47/70 became 90% aligned.

Between 68-70% , so aim for like 48+/70 but to be really safe I'd make sure you're consistently getting above 50/70

Yeah man, but it gets really messy near the top. So many people getting 66+ and you have like 4-5 people sitting on a 100 HSC mark LOL

The only way you can improve is through constantly doing papers. Familiarising yourself with the layout of the test. Actually marking your papers, checking where you went wrong. Checking your work, make sure you make no sillies.

What are your areas of weakness? Also, towards the end of the time limit, look for easy places where you can pick marks especially in the last question. A lot of the time it'll be like

i.) Worth 2 marks - can't do
ii.) Worth 1 mark - can do
iii.) Worth 3 marks - can't do
iv.) Worth 1 mark - can do

Even though iv) will use the result of iii.) , you can still do it without having figured out the previous q.

Here's the circle geo theroems in what I believe are the most common to least commonly used (i.e. most important to least important):
- Angles in same segment are equal (i.e. angles standing on same arc subtended at the circumference are equal)
- The angle between a tangent and a chord is equal to the angle in the alternate segment (alt seg theorem)
- Exterior angle of a cyclic quad is equal to the opposite interior angle
- Opposite angles of a cyclic quad are supplementary
- Angle in a semicircle = 90 degrees (OR angle subtended at the circumference by a diameter is a right angle)
- Tangents drawn to a circle from the same external point are equal
- The angle at the centre is twice the angle at the circumference
- A perpendicular drawn from the centre of the circle to a chord bisects that chord.
- Equal chords and equal arcs subtend equal angles at the centre.

It'll defs be harder than last year, but there's always someone who gets 100% lol. I'm surprised no one's got 100% in 4U in a while though

Dw I heard emilios will get 100% for 4u. I just wanna see a day when a 2u/3u student state ranks extension 1... Probs never lol.

These gave me nightmares, hence why I dropped 3U.
There's literally only 9 and you can get away with not even knowing the last two lol. If you commit a couple days to doing exercises on each specific section (e.g. tangent theorems, angle theorems, cyclic quad theorems) you'd be ready to attempt HSC questions within 2 weeks.

Why can't English have alignment like this. :(
English isn't too bad if I recall correctly. It's cos each of the modules themselves scale. I believe 81/105 has secured B6's for like the past decade

Edit: 90 raw for English = 96 HSC mark. Very similar.
