when rating people of your chosen gender, what do you consider to be a 'good' score? i mean a mark out of ten, and based solely on appearance. i was recently given a rating by my boyfriend's friend (who has only seen me in ONE photo), and i'd like to see what you guys actually think the scores mean.

i always thought that 1-5 was pretty bad, 6 was good, 7-8 very good, 9 awesome hot, and 10 pretty much unattainable.

10 is attainable in certain situations but i would say he rated you around the 7-8 mark which is the general score people get when rated. If you get really bored, u rate the shit people, no offence to them and guys arnt shallow for the record.

The rating is based on overall body figure, so skinny, tits, ass and so on.

yeah i don't think it's that shallow, everbody cares about physical attractiveness.

It varies, depending upon the standards of the person doing the rating. I prefer shorter, more 'rounded' females, whereas my best friend classess them as 'short and fat', and probably wouldn't give them more than a '5' at best.

That said, based on my standards, I'd say 7-8.

based solely on appearances. we already said peoples' interpretations of hotness will differ, and nobody said anything about ugly people not being nice on the inside.

you cant rate a person based on the inside, because the people you rate are random and your just having some harmless fun.

personally, i think rating people is just plain mean
umm saying that tho ...
1-3 :: ..... enough said
4-6 :: on the not so awesome side of things
~7 :: average
8-9 :: on the awesome side of things
>9 :: gorjuz ... reserved for those who dont exist ..

but i still think it's mean to rate .. and i dont conciously do it .. but yeah
i just reckon it's cruel coz one of my really hot mates was rated by these dickheads and she got a bloody rating of 4 .. and these bumz weren't like chick magnets or anythingggg!!!

but if someone's gonna rate someone else so low they should be worthy of rating the other person
