Hey guys,

I'm not sure if you could answer this, but I decided I might ask it anyway just to see if anyone could answer it. I go to a school that's around rank 210 and I'm in year 11 right now. If I did Maths Ext 1 and Ext 2, Physics, Chem and English Advanced in year 12, what ranks should I be getting in each subject to get an ATAR of 95+? (E.g. top 10%, etc). Is it possible to estimate like this or do you need to be given the total amount of people doing each course?

Thanks,
Amundies.

The best thing to do is ask your teachers how many people (%) got band 6 for the last couple of years. Then tell us the number of people in your grade. Then we can make a 'better' estimate.

Number of D.A.'s in 2011

Chem: 4 out of 55
Physics: 2 out of 65
MX1: 15 out of 26
MX2: 3 out of 4
Eng Adv: 5 out of 180

The total number of people in each subject is just a guess according to my current year, but should be somewhat right.
