im gettin realii confused now...
i dun go to a realli bright skool but yeh we're alrite...but i was wonderin say my ranks arnt dat good at skool...for e.g im comin 9/20 for ext 1 maths and i kill the hsc exam and get 40/50 and say this was the highest mark in our class..

does that mean i will get my hsc exam mark (40/50) and the 9th highests assessment mark?... so if the 9th highest mark is like shit say 20/50 i will get that as my assessment mark?

so my alligned mark will be (40 + 20) divided by 2

so i'll get 30/50 for my hsc mark?

also wat happens if ur assessment mark is realii close to the person coming 8th or even 7th....but the 8th highest mark was 35/50, does this mean that the person hu was ranked 8th achives 35/50 for their assessment mark and i will still get 20/50 even though my skool marks are realii close to theirs?

it'll realii clear it up for me if u guys can answer these qs...

no it wouldn't be the 9th highest exam mark as your assessment mark. It goes through a moderation process that takes into account the relative ranks/marks.
