Are your school ranks in your yearly reports determined by the average of the ranks you get in each assessment or it is determined by your average mark throughout the year compared to everyone else's average throughout the year?

A School rank is determined by a comparision of every school in NSW.

I think you mean a internal rank, it is your total marks compared to everyone else

You cannot possibly do it with the average of the ranks for each assessment! There are different weightings and the space between each rank is not clear...if you just do a simple average it doesn't work. It is the total weighted mark that counts, then the rank is determined from there... (that's just my school)
