Farout i got 2 answers for this, correct me where i'm wrong

1. integral (between 4 and -4) x^2/8 + 3
= [x^3/24 + 3x] (between 4 and -4)
= 14/2/3 - (-14/2/3)
= 29/1/3
Area of rectangle = 40
shaded area = 40 - 29/1/3 = 10/1/3

2. integral of square root (8y-24) between y = 5 and y = 3
= [(8y-24)^3/2]/12 between 5 and 3
= 5/1/3 - 0

Not sure whats happening..
