there was a question in my test which i couldnt get. it provides you with a table 5 boxes in length and 4 boxes in height. the man started in the bottom left hand corner. it then said if the man can only travel north and east how many different ways can he take to get to top right hand corner.

In all solutions, you always have 5 Easts and 4 Norths, so if we represent the person's path as:

EEEEENNNN
it's just a matter of finding how many ways you can arrange them. 9!/4!5!
