Im a little confused with what type of texts we need for what.
I know that we need to have researched our own texts for Journeys and Telling the Truth, but do we need any of our own for poetry and In The Wild. Also, how many of our own should we choose for each?
thanx in advance, ps, what texts are everybody choosing?

In the Wild is a comparison study, so I don't think you need a related text...
What do you mean by poetry? I thought you could do different types of poetry...in different sections...

critical study and comparative study don't need supplementary texts...

although they need a hell of a lot of background/context knowledge...

as whiterabbit said, you only NEED related material for the common module (ie journeys for this year). but its a very very very good idea to have a body of knowledge related to the other modules. this can and probly should include other texts related to the area. for instance, with in the wild u might want to look at some of huxley's essays. for the comparative study (yeats i presume? anyway, i dont know the text list very well :s) look at other poets from the time period, and from the same "school" of poetry.

meh just some ideas.
