Question on Crime Fiction (1 Viewer)

i want to know if i should use RESERVOIR DOGS (1992) as a piece of crime fiction, its twisted i know subverting the genre etc etc. but our school gave us one mother for an assignment where we have to choose 5 pieces of related material and i wanted to be different in what i chose, but im not 100% sure that is would classify; its got red-herrings and some other devices but no clear detective and basically everyone dies it seems a bit iffy.
