im ranked 33rd/46 in english adv.
is it possible for me to get a band 6 if the person ranked 32nd doesnt?
or does everyone above me need to get band 6 for me to get a band 6?

2. No, not everyone coming above you needs to get a band 6 for you to get a band 6. It does increase your chances exponentially though.
