i have an earlier edition of the sucess one book so i don't have the 2002 solutions! argh! Anyway, so could someone please help with q26 of the paper ?(the one where u have to design an experiment) i'm not very good at the 'skills'' section... would u use existing hydrangea bushes or cuttings? Also, what is the control - and how do u change the pH of the soil (ie do u have to name specific substances that u would add?) Wow.. i really don't know much at all! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

erhm....i don't have the question here with me...But to answer one of your question, you can tell by the colour of the flower if the soil pH is acidic or basic. If it is pink, then it is basic, if it is blue or purple, then the soil is acidic.

Control could be using soil at neutral. it will give a colour in between of pink/purple i think....
