ahahah yea go the Earlybird Tickets.... all the way... without the ills i dunno if i can last through out the night raving ..... its like in Feb... and i cant wait.... i aint going to UTOPIA.. tahts way too expensive... only just go to and watch Cosmic Gate and ASYS ....and alos the venue at Entertainment centre doenst appeal.... so yea might just chill out with mates watching fireworks on NYE... you going to UTOPIA ?

no one would go with me to utopia, plus it's too expensive (i live in newy, and trainning to sydney by myself doesn't appeal).
no wonder i can't last the whole way, usually i start lying on the floor from 3 or 4.

yea ... i know its expensive and if you got no one to go with... then its a bitch... cas you cant share the FUN and excitement of a rave without your friends..... im lucky i got quite alot of friends who are heaps into raves... so yea when there is a rave on.. there will always be people there that i know... but looks like your doing your HSC in 2006... ahahaha thinking about Raves too much might affect your HSC mate.... but never the less... go to them... apparently in Sept... Powerhouse productions... wants to do a MASSIVE... Rave party... like call up all the big names of Hardcore and put heaps of money into organizing a mad party... they just wanted to do it for some reason.. so yea... study hard before that and ... Rave hard around SEPT ....

shit, sept is like between my trial and my hsc! meh, i supose two days won't hurt. i don't think many ppl around here are into raves. in fact, i don't think anyone in my school are (except me and another 1). being, in a selective school, most ppl seems like they're not into this type of things (but again, almost none would think i'm into it either) but it's ok, i'm moving to sydney end of next year to go to uni, so hopefully i can go easier then.

yea man no offence but i dun think many selective people go to those kind of events... they rather study ... but then again... i missed Prophecy the awakening ... because of my Trials... so yea.... depends on your priorities... although the build up to hardwarz after my HSC was so much better... but Hardwarz only gave me dissappointment in its production.... anyways you'll soon find ravers out there and become close friends....

hardwars was really below my (and anyone's) expectation. i really do hope that prophecy doesn't turn out like that. it seems no one else on this forum is going.

ahahaha yea well im not surprised.. since this is a SCHOOL based forum... and most of the members here are academically talented.... so yea its alright... well if you want to read more about events and stuff im sure you prob know the site already... http://www.echild.info/ its Sydney's online raving community.... got some mad info .. and stuff... so yea but you prob heard prophecy from that site neway... I actually like it that not alot of people is into raves... cas if it gets too popular.... commercialising raves... makes it a more profit event rather than an event which people will remember for the rest of their lives..

true. this way it feels like being part of small, but close community. but one thing i don't get is why it seems that many ppl hate newcomers. because for any culture, without new ppl, over the time, the rave culture would end up with all 30 to 40 year olds. and also some ppl leave, so without fresh blood, it will end up with no one.

you know what.. thats a good question... in my opinion.. those people who dont like newcomers or the so called 'Virgin Ravers' their just arrogant people.. who think because they've been raving for a long time.. they kinda KNOW EVERYTHING... understand how it all works... and stuff like that.. and when new people come and are all excited about it... they go... pfftt i've done that a million times already.. you virgin raver... stop getting too excited.... i was always into Hardcore/Trance music... since i was in year 6.... but i was never into raving.. cas as if my parents would be let go to an all night rave .... so yea everyone started off somewhere... and there are people who dont like new comers i guess... but dont worry about them... this raving community needs new people to keep it going as you said... and i definitely encourage people to get into this sort of scene... cas seriously... the experience cannot be compared to CLUBING...
