does anyone have any good notes for probability or some tips on how to aproach these problems.. i understand binomials and the more basic probability problems, but when i am faced with a question, i never know where to start
any help would be apreciated... thanks

Many 3u probability questions are really just permutation/combinations and can be done using fundamental probability:

P(event) =

number of desirable ways
number of total possibilities

I like to replace "probability" in the question with "number of ways" and treat it like a perms/combs question before actually answering the question (finding the probability).
