cant figure this out...in the handbook for accg200

accg105(p) or accg101(p) or accg100(p) and accg101 or accg105 and bba103 and 30cp

so does that mean you have to have done:

1. "accg105(p) or accg101(p) or accg100(p)"
2. "accg101 or accg105 "
3. bba103
4. 30 cp

or

like accg105(p), accg105, bba103 and 30cp

help please

c as ive missed out on accg100 n dont really wanna wait till my 3rd (of 4) year to start 200 level accg subjects.

ill be transfering from b business + b economics to b business + b commerce accounting

aqnother thing is that if you were just doin bba then you only do accg105. and you then do accg200. so u dont need accg100/101 etc... to do aCCG200.

its pretty confusing isnt it hehe ...

when i read it, the way i see it is you need to satisfy one of the following

- accg105 (p)

- accg101 (p)

- accg100 (p) and accg101

- accg105 and bba103 and 30cp

bcos it takes into account getting PC's in accg101 and accg105 ... i think

maybe im wrong, but yehhh

yeah isn't it just that, remembering you need a pass in 1.

accg105, bba103 and 30cp

im taking p is pass or something? what does it mean then with no p next to it?

im doin econ110 (disctinction) and 111 (tis sem) so im sure they'll waive bba103. seems stupid they dont list 110/111 in the options when in your core subjects its either bba103 or econ110/111

when theres no P, doesnt that mean you can do it if you PC'd it?

i still think im right, because accg200 is a core accounting subject and bba103 isnt even an option of the accounting degree anymore ... so that doesnt make sense if its a prereq

thats why bba103 is coupled with accg105, and also 30cp, for BBA students ...

Simple case of breaking it up where it says 'or'.

ForAGoodCause is correct.

iambored and jlh are incorrect.

That is all.

ok..so you could do accg200 by just doin accg105 (pass or better). but then i'd have to get waivers for 310 and 323 and somehow get 100 and 101 waived to get my degree... fuck this is annoying not having done accg100 last semester....
im thinkin ill have to do this

next sem: comp123, econ111, bba102, bba111
05 s1: accg100, bba204, busl250
05 s2: accg101, bba214, bba250, bba216 (if offered in s2 as new subject)

then over yr3/4 do the 9 200/300 level accg subjects.. damn 2.25 accg subjects a semester. compared to if accg100/101 is done yr 1 of 1.5 a sem (yr2-4).
