Can someone please give me an estimate for my UAI?
These are my subjects and ranks... and an estimate for my assessment mark (based on trials etc)... but yeah... basically just base it on subjects and ranks and school rank... thanks

Advanced English - 19/159 (roughly low-mid 90s)
Extension 1 English - 14/49 (roughly 43/50)
Extension 2 English - 12/23 (roughly 40/50)
Advanced Maths - 78/89 (roughly 65)
Modern History - 12/21 (roughly 85)
Legal Studies - 10/38 (roughly low 90s - 91 or 92)

My school rank is 27 - Caringbah Selective High

My aim is above 90... and before anybody says it... i realise that if i am to get 90+ then i need to improve maths... and i've been working hard... so if someone could give me an idea of what i could expect if i could get around 75-80 in the maths hsc exam...

i got told by a teacher not to use UAI calculators because they don't take into account which school we go to and its basically just guessing... so that's why i'm asking. I need a minimum of 90 for my course...

Thanks in advance

my estimate is 90.

if you get 75 - 80 in 2u maths, then I think 90+

Good Luck.

thanks for your reply. 90 is what i'm aiming for.

What do you reckon I'd have to do to get 96. i know its big, but is the only way i can get it if i get...like 100 in everything from now on lol.

Just wondering because my first preference is 96 UAI at uni, and my second is 90. Happy with either.

Thanks

I'd bet every last one of my dollars that you'll get above 90. I'd estimate 96.
my responses have been so varied. it ranges from 90 from the first person who posted, to 93 for someone who sent me a msg (thank you to them) to 96 now, to 97 with my principal (mind you, that was a while ago).
Thanks for your responses. The main thing is, my aim is 90 and i know what i need to do so thanks

Just keep doing past papers for 2u. Do about 10. Make sure you mark them. There should be improvement xD

patty caldwell, you should be a 90+ that is if you manage to get a band 5 in maths.

do some past papers or give me a PM and ill send you the summary for the course, that should help you out.

Hi everyone
Would anyone like to predict my UAI?

I have no idea what is meant by school rank? I go to Calrossy Anglican School if that helps- can someone let me know what school rank is?

Biology =15th/39 ( mark approx 69%- hoping to get 80% in exam - pulled down coz of earlier bad marks in the year)
Adv English= 19th/52 ( mark approx 76%- hoping to get 85% in exam..)
General Maths =3rd/46 ( mark approx 83%- hoping to get 90% in exam..)
Modern History= 2nd/25 ( mark approx 86%)
Society & Culture= 7th/26 ( mark approx 84%- hoping to get 90% in exam..)
if that makes sense! thanks so much

Hay guys I know this is kind of last minute but if anyone gets a chance can they please work out my UAI mark. I've used the SAM calculator but a couple of my friends who did the HSC last year told me not to rely on it.

These are my overall assessment task marks and ranks, (this includes Trials and stuff too). Oh and I go to South Sydney High School if that helps at all with the school rank thing.

Advanced English:
Rank- 5/40
Mark- 87
(HSC Exam Hoping to get 80ish because I kinda stuffed up paper 1)

Ex 1 English:
Rank- 3/10
Mark- 81
(HSC Exam Hoping to get 75-80ish)

Ex English 2:
Rank- 1/1
Mark- 36
(HSC Hoping to get 75ish, did it basically at the last minute-bad idea!)

Biology:

Rank- 9/36
Mark- 74
(HSC Exam Hoping to get 70-75ish)

General Maths:
Rank- 7/44
Mark- 71
(HSC Exam Hoping to get 75-80ish)

Legal Studies:
Rank- 2/14
Mark- 91
(HSC Exam Hoping to get high 80s-90ish)

Visual Arts:
Rank- 1/20
Mark- 91
(HSC Exam Hoping to get high 80s-90ish)

Thanks xx
And Good luck to everyone!!
