familiarize yourself with the syllabus, which can be obtained from the board of studies website.

pracs that i am aware of that you would likely need to prepare for from chemical monitoring and management include the determination of the quantity of sulfate in a sample of lawn fertilizer, and various ion tests (precipitation reactions/flame tests).

agreed with rhia. our pracs consist of three sections usually so maybe you want to look over ur content for those topics to ensure you have a grasp of these: first section is usually we do our own prac (it wont be anything too overly difficult, like the lawn fertiliser one won't be asked coz it usually requires a few days:p), our pracs were always flame test/precipitate/indicator work.

second feature of pracs is them asking you to use the already given data and tabulate/graph/discuss results/conclude etc etc...

third feature of pracs is that they'll usually ask you to analyse perhaps a prac you did in class. or something that you've done by maybe writing the method or maybe even discussing ur results. so be confident in those things that you've done (this is where they may get a bit nasty)

Good Luck :)

PS Problem with our school is that they didnt have enough equipment to get everyone doing a titration on their own ;) maybe thats a thing to think about when narrowing down wat it possibly could be.

MEMORISE the table. thats the only way. Sit there and draw it out perhaps in a way that will allow you to memorise or remember it easily. If a table is too boring for you, turn it into a flow-chart or watever will allow you to remember it easily. There are also some relationships between the various results etc so maybe if you remeber those sort of mnemonic sort of things itll help you out.

go over it in ur head over and over until you've got it!
