"A land fit for heroes"

That the women didn't nick their employment.

Jobs, housing etc

All that sort of stuff

What really happened as most got fed up and nicked off to the dominions for a better life

Some rioted

The government had to introduce war pensions

etc etc

so it's still considered part of the homefront? My assessment task sheet says we need to know the homefront until the end of the war...so do we still need to know this stuff? I hope not...

In the syllabus it isn't under the homefront, it's under post-war expectations of the soliders.

* post-war soldier and civilian expectations of the government as a result of war experiences (Britain 19181919)

No, not part of the homefront which is dealt with under * total war and * changing attitudes of soldiers and civilians to the war over time: the outbreak of war; Christmas 1914; reactions following the Somme; peace movements (Germany and Britain)
I would think anyway...

The war ended 1918 so I don't think you need to know it... but it's always good to know everything.
