Our entire class, aside from myself and one other, have moved over to Senior Science, our current teacher has left our class to focus on the Bio class...and he's replaced by another guy once he comes back from marking HSC Chemistry!

This means my class consists of myself, another guy who is about the same level as me and an HSC marker! If I don't ace Chemistry I may as well roll over and die. The only problem is that, usually, if 50% of the class is away, the teacher can't go too far ahead with the work :p...but at least I'm guaranteed second place! :D

Anybody else have a small class like this before? It's so amazingly cool. It's almost like having a personal tutor.

I thought 4 unit maths would be like that, and it is to a degree, but don't expect miracles. You'll still need to put effort in. :p

It'll probably better to have such a small class as the teaching would be of a more personal approach. You'd probably learn things quicker as well. Since the other guy is about on the same level as you, the teacher can teach you both the same way, as opposed to a larger class with a variety of students with different learning capacities.

My English (Extension 1) and English (Extension 2) classes were like that this year, with 4 and 2 students in each respective class. It rocked, really made learning easier.

All of my classes have less then eight people in them, except for bio, which has 13. It's great, because you get so much more one on one with the teachers

Our software class had 4 people. The other class had 20 or so. You can probably guess who the top four students were. Smaller class, the better.

My smallest class was 1, i wanted to do italian but unfortunately couldnt so i just told the school id teach myself and the teacher just gave me the notes and stuff i needed during breaks. I was also planning to take extension italian which also wouldve been 1 person class but instead i dropped italian before the hsc because i wasnt confident enough

my smallest class is IPT. Just 4 ppl. There used to be 8 but 2 dropped the subject and 2 left the school. Chem at my school is actually alright about 20 or so. All my other classes have a moderate number of students so its all ok except for IPT.

technically it is not allowed, but some schools don't want to waste resources employing more teachers :p
