when in court and you want to give the plain ordinary meaning is better to use macquarie dictionary or oxford dictionary?

In an assignment, it's probably safe using a dictionary.
But at the risk of sounding cocky, if you're in a moot, and assuming you are a plain and ordinary person, 'natural and ordinary meaning' means exactly what YOU ninja is natural and ordinary.
