Why do some people have a picture under their name, after they post and others don't? (sorry if its a stupid question)....

the picture is an avatar ... you can add to your profile if you want ... go to the "user cp" above ... and then got to options ... and then at the bottom there is an avatar option ...

there are restrictions to the avatar ... size (dimensions) of 75 by 75 pixels and ... 40kb ...
