Explain why there are different circuits for lighting, heating and other appliances.

Any information would be appreciated.

Thank you.

There are different reasons for these.
For example, series circuits emit more light from the lighting, eg they are brighter. However the problems with this is that if there is one globe blown, or a single fault in the system, then the other globes will also not work.
However, in a parallel circuit if one thing blows, then the others can continue to run.

Is this what you meant?

Or because some appliances have different fuse ratings. ..

Ovens need a 15A fuse while light globes only need 5A fuses

different areas of the home (e.g kitchen, bedroom, bathroom ...) have different circuits with different fuse ratings depending on power consumption
