After being enrolled in phys1121 for about 2 weeks now.. i just recently found out that i had the choice between phys1121 and phys1131, where phys1131 is supposedly more challenging and thus beneficial to ur education.

Is a 90 in HSC physics, 46/50 for Maths Ext1 enough to take up phys1131?

hsc physics means nothing.

ur 3unit mark is 'decent' enough if you put in the effort.

only do it if you wanna learn abit more and shit, don't do it just because it's higher.

thanks for the reply tommykins.. the only thing im worried about is whether i'll be disadvantaged in later years in comparison to those who took up phys1131.

Im studying optometry btw.

how can you be disadvantaged?

your first year subjects mean nothing tbh, they're just building the foundations.

and get used to people not caring about whether you did higher or lower, its all about your WAM.
