Think of it this way: the closer to the end of holidays, the closer to term. The closer to term, the closer to the end of term. THe closer to the end of term, the closer to holidays. And the cycle continues until the HSC is over forever!!!

I prefer the school holidays to study 'cause when im at school, there's not much time for me to study and to practice my musical instrument, in actual fact I only have 4 hrs each night if im lucky. So I like the holidays and I force myself to study.

That happened to me when I did my HSC. I made sure I practised at least 1 hour a day, then dinner, so by the time I did anything I'd be lucky to manage 3 hours--4 if I'm on a high and can stretch it past 12 without being dead. At least we musos have the benefit of having only the 30% musicology paper left at the end of the HSC.
