people have their own strengths but i get 2u isnt the hardest of subjects, but i feel like instead of blaming them, you should be held accountable for your own english performance
My year (2024) scaled unusually lower than the other years. Based on this fact, I infer my year had too many fucking drop kicks (which was out of my control)

Legit I can blame them all I want.

Just look at this graph, you see 2024's curve. The only explanation for that minimum point is cause of a fucking asshole retarded cohort.

Only my mark range was effected by this scaling bs. Every other mark is totally unaffected. (so no, it had nothing to do with the fact 2024's exam was easier (it wasn't anyway))

is it not your fault for getting in that range though, like YOU got the 60 raw

The English teacher also told me "I'm dragging everyone in the class down" in a bid to get me to drop to fucking standard English.

Like shut the fuck up, I'm also getting dragged down by the entire state cause y'all can't even fucking scrape 20/100 in two unit of maths.

This begs the question, why can't the vast majority do basic 2 unit maths?

well if you had just done better, there would have been no issue but instead you continue to blame others

the teacher blamed me first, so I'm hitting them back with the same energy.

I legit lose 10 scaled marks since the vast English cohort in the entire state couldn't do fucking 2u of maths in the year 2024 - apparently 2024 2u maths was soooo hard, despite it being quite a surface level paper ever.

It's not even about trying, I clearly tried harder than people who can't even a 20% in math (despite getting 5s and 6s in English).

You're telling me someone who gets a 19/100 in 2u maths has a higher atar contribution than me who got a 60/100 in english advanced?

You don't have to try to get a 19/100. I could've gotten a 30/100 from year 10 in math advanced. Yet UAC still gives them a higher atar contribution.

UAC scales maths too high at the low end (raw 20), while English too low at the mid end (raw 60).

thats quite unfortunate, but theres nothing you can do about it. Out of curiosity what atar are you even aiming for

85. I would've been in a much safer position had I actually gotten those 10 points. 340/500 scaled marks is what I need and I come dangerously close to not hitting it, mostly cause of English (39/100)

you better hope 3u and 4u clutch up then, but those weren't the hardest either so scaling might not be the best

yup, im in a good position for 3u, but for 4u idk cause the fucking dropkicks might drag down my assessment mark (like how they dragged down my 2u assessment mark from 92 -> 90)

4Us scaling goes crazy anyways, a few marks here or there wont really do much i imagine
