rob, the mentor you signed up should be for next year, people working on open days are mentors that worked last year

i don't think i will be working in open day this yr, they didn't even call me to help out the stalls this time around :(

you know those ppl in green shirts that help you make your timetable before the first sem, you should apply for those, they actually get paid around 18 - 20dollars /hr for typing in your unit code...and most of the time they sit around and do nothing

How do you apply for those positions rather than just a mentor?

Hi
Hope semester 1 went well for you and you are ready for semester 2.
This year we are going to start recruiting new mentors for next year
from week 1 so we are having a stall in O Week (Monday August 1 to Wed
Aug 3).
If you would like to help there will be a roster at the stall from
Monday at 9.30am. Stall times are 10am -3pm Mon - Wed so if you are
passionate about mentoring and would like to be part of recruiting next
years mentors (or even to talk to people about what mentoring is), we
would love to see you at the stall. Bring your T shirt (or if you forget
we will have some spares there so that's not an excuse!!)
Hope to see you again next week.
Bye for now
Sandie
