I downloaded it and gave it a try, and, after like 5 minutes of usage, I can't see anything that different about it.

I certainly do like the UI transform and the new 'file' menu, but apart from that, nothing appears to have changed.

OpenOffice.org (Free Office Suite) +1...

07/10 Office are resource hogs, especially ram.... if you have the juice, go ahead and run it but without atleast a gig of memory it'll run like shit.

Yeah I been using it since the Technical Preview (before public beta) - quite nice.. it's a nice step-up from 07.

The last time I used OpenOffice was on version 2.4, and it was a bit buggy (I used the word processor the most). Anyone know if it's improved?

I made the switch to Office 2003 after being frustrated with Office 2007's Ribbon interface, now I'm back to 07 with a Classic UI (I'd be with 03 if I had the disc) - is there anything explicitly different between 07/10?

If you don't have a gig of memory it might be time to upgrade.

i hope they still retain goal seek, solver and other tools found in Excel 2007 and earlier

ahahahaha compatibility like shoving dick into meat grinder laced with lemon juice
actually haven't had an issue with that, YET, so far it's been importing and exporting smoothly
