Just read this and it brought tears, the ending is so sad yet beautiful. Anyone else read it? Thoughts?

I've read it. I just knew the ending was leading up to the big guy getting killed. *sniff* he never got to have that wonderful place he yearned for... with the rabbits and all.

I've read it too and I agree with you Ms 12 about the ending - George knew that it was the best way to handle things with Lennie, but it was SO SAD!!

hehe, i read it in year 7 (?), my brother did it for his school, and when he got it, i read it. Hrm, didnt seem that great then. I prolly wasnt mature enough to appreciate it. hehe, i'll read it again.
