Oh man I'm loving this album.

Been working for the church while your life falls apart,
They're singing hallelujah when defeating your heart
Every spark of friendship and love will die without a home
Hear the soldier groan all quiet and alone
Hear the soldier groan all quiet and alone...

maybe I need to listen to it more, but I'm a bit disappointed by it. I reckon it lacks the magic of some songs from Funeral, like Laika, Rebellion, Wake Up, and Power Out... maybe because its a darker and more restrained. hopefully it will grow on me... I like Neon Bible and the redone version of No Cars Go

oh i forgot about tunnels. that should be included in my list.

the old version of No Cars Go was one of my favourite Arcade Fire songs, which is probably why I like the new version as well

I quite like neon bible, it's a good album. I didn't expect it to be better than Funeral so there wasn't much to be disappointed about.
I hope they come to Australia some day, I've got a dvd of a live performance and It's rather awesome.

They've had to cancel the remaining 9 dates on their European tour because Win Butler has a sinus infection :(
