Need help with my texts (belonging) (1 Viewer)

Hey there,

I need help with choosing the correct texts for my HSC. I've done municipal gum for my written and for my visual i have chosen the arrival. The problem is i'm not too sure about doing the arrival because i hear many people are doing this text as well.

Was wondering if i should stick to doing the arrival or if anyone could suggest a visual text that can be related to municipal gum (poem is about not belonging to a place).

Yes that's true, with the arrival or any shaun tan book... well they are generally overused.

With visual texts that have to do with isolation in general I know theres:
-The Island by Armin Greder (Picture book)
-The City by Armin Greder (Picture book)
-One flew over the Cuckoo's nest (movie) I haven't actually watched this one but the story line looks like it's may be something your looking for

I'll post some more later when I can think of some.
