ok....
im askin the reverse of wat many ppl r asking here... instead of 'predict my UAI'.. i wanted 2 ask how i can get high 80s...

my courses:::
2u English Standard
2u Mathematics
2u Software Design Dev
2u Biology
2u VET Information technology
1u Studies of Religion

my rankings for all these subjects are average... as in middle section of the ppl.. and some below average...
is there any chance of me gettin high 80s...??
i want 2 do Industrial Design/International Studies at UTS...
can someone advise me wat i should do and roughly how high i need 2 reach in my HSC 2 get anywhere near 80s...?

arigatou (thx thx)

mmmm.... The subjects you do don't scale too well.

If you are going pretty avarge im pretty sure its safe to say you -definitely- have a chance of getting 80's.

Mathematics is probably your highest scaling subject so you should focus on getting high marks on that as well as the ones that don't scale too well like english standard.

Actually, its hard to say that a middle ranking would mean a definite chance of getting 80s. Without the school ranking its hard to predict.

Hmm...working of low scaling subjects such as Standard English does make a big difference. Looking at the Table 3 document released by UAC, it seems the further you are from the top of the state, the more you get scaled down.

He doesn't want a prediction :)

If you are ranked pretty average you definitely have a chance. But that of course relies on you performing well in the HSC exam.

i.e. trying to obtain a lot of band 5
