I love songs that are in a different language, and when you go and find the translation, you love it even more.

No-Shakira
Apres Moi- Regina Spektor
Schnappi-Das Kleine Krokodile (although I did understand that!)
Ave Maria in Latin... has a lot of importance to my family and throughout our lives.

Used to listen to a lot of jrock, jpop, and korean hip-hop and r'n'b, but now- except for the occasional Girugamesh or Mucc song, and stuff from se7en- I've pretty much grown out of it :(

Edith Piaf- I loooooove her voice, and one day, I will be able to understand what she is singing :D:D

Sigur Ros - of course :)
Some great Icelandic bands, like Bang Gang, Ampop, Olafur Arnalds, Pornopop - although they do sing primarily in english.
Ulan Bator, Benoît Pioulard (some, but OMG GREAT!), and of course Alcest -- french

If anyone likes some decent shoegaze like I do, there's no one I can recommend more than Alcest's album 'Souvenirs d'un autre monde'
