Currently for my Music 1 electives, I am doing a performance, a viva voce and a composition. I recently did my performance and viva voce electives for my mid-year examination but I am struggling with my composition and was wondering if my teacher would let me do another performance instead. Is it too late to change?

It's definitely not too late to change to performance, especially if your composition is not going very well!
However, you should consult your teacher about it. They will probably want to see your composition and its progression. I reckon though you will already need a piece, as they will probably want to hear it, so they know you are making the right decision.
