Movie clips for Viva Voce (1 Viewer)

Hey,
I'm using a dvd for one of my viva voce's and I dont know how to cut the scenes. the reason I want to cut them is so that I have a dvd of scenes that I specifically want that fit the time allocated and topic in my viva. Can anyone help?
