Since this is the prerequisite to post-modernism i decided to post this thread here.

Basically i have an essay to do whereby i have to read a book and relate it to modernism. My question is:

Is 'The boy in the bush' by D.H. Lawrence a modernist novel?

bump. Any help appreciated, esp by hsc students who've studied the topic.

I'm also considering reading James Joyce's, Dubliners.

I wasn't aware there was a prerequisite for any HSC EE1 subjects other than having done EE1 in the Preliminary year (please bear in mind all preliminary subjects are set by the school, not standardised by the Board of Studies across the state).

You might have better luck in the Yr 11 forums.
