What would a raw mark of 85/100 equate to? :)
Bump. I too would like to know this.

Does anyone have the raw mark > aligning process for modern that was released a few years back?

I have been on the panel for Modern History who made that determination a couple of times and 85% would be more like a high Band 5.

It would be close to the cut-off but one year it might get the Band 6 and the following year get Band 5.

It is very close to the cut-off mark from my memory of where that cut-off was when I did the Standards Setting exercise.

Since then we have had a new syllabus so the marks could be out of kilter completely.
