So consider the following situation:
A certain class gets ranked in a certain way and those ranks are submitted to BOSTES. However, for whatever reasons, these ranks are horribly wrong. Perhaps the teacher was extremely biased, perhaps there was some sort of clerical error - the reason does not matter.
Then the students do the external exams and the marks they receive place them in an entirely different order, such that there are massive discrepancies between the reported internal marks and actual external marks for every student (remember this is hypothetical).
What would BOSTES be inclined to do in such a situation? Would they go ahead with alignment and moderation as usual, or would they take some sort of action to deal with the problem?
