Missing hsc test (2 Viewers)

Hi, I’m an HSC student. Throughout my Year 12 assessments at school, I scored above 85% in engineering. However, I got sick during the HSC exam and decided to stay home and submit a misadventure form. What mark will I receive for that exam? And if I attended the exam but only scored around 50%, which option would be better for me to choose?

im pretty sure that given your misadventure is upheld, if you dont attend then you get your moderated assessment mark as your examination mark (so based on your rank and how the rest of your cohort does). if you attend the exam, they take the highest of either your moderated assessment mark or your examination mark

so if ur rank is good but you know that you flopped the external exams because you were sick and youre 100% sure that your misadventure will be upheld then its probably worth staying home and resting. but if youre not 100% sure your misadventure will be upheld then i think its probably still better to do the exam and give it your all
