Hey guys and girls,

So it just hit me today that for the Paper 2 (Advanced) exam yesterday, for my Section I essay I labelled the front of the booklets as question 1b (White-Dobson), rather than 2b (Franken-runner). It seems to be a pretty minor thing and you'd think the markers would pick it up and hopefully ignore it/correct, but it's got me a little bit worried that they'll be all 'ceebs fixing this idiot's mistake' and just zero it.

Anyone else done the stoopid thing like me? Or am I just a bit of a muppet?

They'll sort the papers out

as long as you wrote the question number

and responded to the actual question for your text

They'll mark whatever you wrote for the appropriate section; don't worry.

When a mis-labelled script hits a marker's desk as in your example the marker takes it to the SM, who will take it to the clerical staff who will re-label it and send it to the appropriate markers.

If it is being marked online I assume something similar will happen (haven't done online marking yet so will be learning a new process this year).
