Anyone know of an easy way to memorise the planning cycle, and the efficiency ratios? They're both really bugging me.

Honestly don't memorise the Financial Planning Cycle, it's not worth it. Or if you want to be somewhat prepared for it, just memorise this:

Address the present financial position
Determine financial statements needed (then break this up into Budget, Cash Flow, Balance sheet, Revenue Statement)
Maintain and Control Financial systems
Minimise Risk

ADMM = All day monster mash.

Efficiency ratios, well, write em out a couple of times :p

Thanks for your help. I'm sure I'll get the after a while. You're probably right about the financial planning cycle. It's to long to bother with.

The financial planning cycle seems way too long to remember, does anyone think we'll be needing to remember it?

As long as you know that you control your financial records AFTER you implement them and not before, really you know all there is to know.

The only time I've seen it come up is in the 2007 Multiple Choice, if you can do question 6 of the multiple choice then you're set.

i don't imagine it will be an important question, but i memorised it using an offensive catch phrase:
