That list is only Medical Schools with research facilities. There are many great medical reserach institutions that don't offer medical training.

I'd say the best place for medical research in Australaia would be the "Walter & Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research", which is a stand-alone research facility, and one of the best in the world.

The Garvan Institute of Medical Research is also one of the best in Australia.

Peter Mac is pretty much up there as well, with its clinical facilities.
