I did my Gantt chart and "User Interface" in pencil, with notes in pen. BUT the lady (supervisor) said the same thing to me and politely said "It says blue/black pen" - so I went over everything in pen and rubbed out the pencil.

Took a few mins :p

See above, I did mine in pencil and the examiner/supervisor was looking at me and telling me not to.

They were just Gantt charts/columns. I didn't want to ruin it and have to cross it out if 'it didn't fit' ;)

LOL!!

Gantt chart = 3 marks
Designing the input screen = 3 marks

BUT I did identify TWO major features of my design.. so I should get 1 mark for that :p

That's minus 5 marks there.
PLUS minus 3 for the multiple choice.

*slain* :p

Hehehe it's no big deal... you'll never know your raw exam mark, so I can look at the aligned mark and think: "WOW I did well"

'Ohh the BOS are sneaky buggers' :p

What were your features?
I did "input boxes are sized appropriately based on the "field size" thereby minimising ambiguity" or something..maybe i wrote thereby "something else"

and "the layout/format is simple, in black and white, maximising functionality and minimising distraction"
or something

They dont tell you your raw mark?
Thats crap!
So if you do average in IPT or whatever lower scaling subject, you get your scaled-down-to-hell mark only?

I don't believe so, no.

They take your raw exam mark, align it to performance bands, take your raw assessment mark, do the same alignment, and then 'chuck it all together' and do some wacko-stuff to it, churning out your aligned HSC mark, which gets reported on your Record of Achievement.

:)

I said "I don't believe so... no" in response to "They don't tell you your raw exam mark"

But I should have said:

No, they don't tell you your RAW exam mark.
Yes, you will perform badly if you are under average, or performing average in IPT, average ranks, assessment mark, and exam performance.

Hope that clears it up :)

I acted like they sort of wanted a form that you would make to input data in something like MS Access. It looked like a web site though.

My answer is in another thread, coincidentally entitled Input screen

(My lame, crude humour, don't mind me ;)).

Mine was a rip-off of Hotmail's user-input screen for New Members and registration, partially stealing a few BOS forum/board ideas :p :D :D
