given real numbers a and b consider the system of linear equations

5y + 3z = 1
ax + y - z = a - 3
ax + 2y + 2z = a + 2b -2
2ax - 2y = 2a + b

i)use elementary row operations to find the values of a and b for which the equations are inconsistent.

ii)find the values of a and b for which the equations have only one solution, and find this solution.

iii)find the values of a and b for which the equations have more than one solution, and find the general solution in this case.

iv)let A denote the 4 x 3 coefficient matrix of the system. Using your answers to the previous parts, find (without additional calculations) one value of a for which A does not have a left inverse. Explain your answer.

I thought this sounded familiar. If you're gonna ask for help for a math assignment you should tell people that its an assignment so they dont just give you answers. And if you dont do math1902, i'm sure the students on here that do will appreciate answers not being posted :)
