I'm a bit confused atm about MATH1151. I bought the course notes and the MATH1131/MATH1141 calculus notes are throwing me off. They don't match up to the MATH1151 syllabus. So i'm wondering if the MATH1151 syllabus is just going to be all the lecture notes or if we have to learn the whole MATH1131/MATH1141 book as well as the lecture notes in MATH1151 for calculus.

What is important are the problems. The 1131/1141 notes are just there to give you some additional material in those parts where the syllabus overlaps. The exact full syllabus should be in the coursepack somewhere. In calc 1151 they do some multivariable stuff that isn't in 1131/1141, but I don't know if they left anything out, or whether they just go faster.

Ok so the MATH1151 lecture notes cover the whole syllabus? And so I only have to do that and the problems in the booklet?

it does match up except the least upper bound theory. other than that it's in course note.

Are you sure because the math1151 syllabus has 7 topics while the math1131/1141 has 10. Or is it the same but just in a different order and idfferently named topics?

Does anyone else find the way the lectures are laid out somewhat confusing? For algebra I find the way vectors are explained very non intuitive and for calculus the lecture is a bit all over the place, jumping from topic to topic. I have no problem following and understanding the course notes but I'm still a bit worried if the lectures end up covering something that isn't in the notes, hopefully this'll just be the case for the first few lectures.
