what is the real difference between math and general

i understand how general is way easier than "mathamatics"

but if one were to drop down to general would there marks suffer as a resault?

if i were to get 90 at general and 70 at 2 unit which am i better off chosing...

There's a few threads on thsi already... check out the Mathematics, General Mathematics, and HSC Help -> Scaling threads...

...But basically, if oyu go great at General, like you are, it doesn't affect your marks at all. Remember even doing a hard subject and receiving average marks doesn't do you any justice.

Use SAM and enter a few marks into it, you'll see for yourself!
