For the tests that we did for the trials, half yearly, etc, is it our mark or rank in skool/year that will help with our UAI...?

Ranks. Because marks are aligned up or down across the state to compensate for schools that mark too easy or too hard.

Both. The rank is most important but the gaps in the marks also have an influence.

Cause in my class (IPT) there are pretty big gaps between people.

The actual gap sizes will change but relative sizes will be reflected in the moderated assessment.

the marks go to ur rank .. ur ranks the only thing the school sends to the BoS poeple

Wrong, the school sends in the total assessment marks. BOS makes the ranks from there.

riiight .. and whered u get this info from nubber ?

If the school already ranks u .. then what would the piont be in sending the assesment marks to Bos poeple ?

He's also right. :)

The assessment marks are sent to the Board because without them you wouldn't know the relative differences between students.
