Well my main computer is connected to the internet through a coaxial cable wall port (thick black cable, also used for pay tv). Anyways i have those blue cables ports all over the house (CAT 5 Cable/i think ethernet ports), if i connect the main computer ethernet cable from my computer into one of the port and get another computer and connect an ethernet from that computer into other wall port, would there been connections, considering i run the internet networking wizard on both computers.

the only problem is those wall ports have a line telephone, meaning if i plug a home phone into those ports, theres a telephone connection, is that be a problem?

thanks for anyone helping out.

do you have a router? if you have cable internet, you will need a router for more than 1 computer connected, *i think.

It's possible to do, however its hard on windows machines (easier on linux). Just get a router.
